So I have a good clean install of EvoX 3935 and the X2 4981 bios with an Xecuter 2.2 Lite chip (which is also installed properly).

Everything works great, except when I switch the mod chip to the off position, it still boots to EvoX.

I can access the M$ dashboard from within EvoX, but it won't boot directly to it.

Any idea's on what's going on here and how I could go about fixing it?

make sure your d0 isn't permanently grounded.

Isn't?

I thought you were supposed to solder the grounding wire on the chip to the d0 point on the circuit board? Isn't that permanently grounding it?

I folled the instructions to the T when I was installing this mod chip.

when you install the chip, keep the ground and the d0 wire seperate. just screw then the ground to the respective ground spot (screw right there) and the d0 where it should go. these 2 points should not cross at any point. this is where you problem should be
