Well I have a stock Xbox (Un tocuhed I mean no mod attempts done on her) and suddenly it now frags! It will start up for a second, fan will go and then it will flash Red/Green until I shut it off. What could be causing this!? What can I do to fix this?

Thanks guys/gals wink.gif

are you sure nothing happened to it that you might have inadvertently caused? such as a xblive dashboard update, and the xbox shut down in the middle of it?

anyways, if your sure that it really happened for no apparent reason, then i would say open it up, clean it out and make there are no bridged points.

Nope...nothing like that at all. I opened her up and looked at the motherboard CAREFULLY: abolutly nothing that I could see...I spent 3 hours just looking at every inch with a magnifying glass.

Well, the Xbox is about 11 months old now so that is out of the question.

That's what I was thinking thewicked...I will go ahead and try that tomorrow wink.gif

But still...I still wonder what could of made this occur/what type of error is this for a stock Xbox (other than a bad MCPX chip...)
