Check out my Japanese Smoke LE custom I just finished today. This is the 3rd Smoke LE I have done, and this is the best yet! cool.gif

user posted image

It has an Xecuter 2.3 Pro and a 200gb 7200rpm Maxtor hard drive installed with Evox and possibly every emulator and homebrew game out. The heat guard inside was pulled out and painted a bright yellow, along with the DVD-Rom holder and hard drive holder. The DVD-Rom top lid was cut and painted yellow as well to make a nice window. An 80mm blue led fan was installed blowing air into the system, keeping the CPU and new hard drive cool. In back of the fan is a dust guard blocking any dust from being sucked in. On the right side is a mini fan blowing air out. It has a speed control system which is located behind the DVD-Rom. Tempatures are great, MB temp is 76.3 F, CPU temp is 90.4 F and the HD temp is 65.2 F. This is the best temps any of my mods I have done! laugh.gif
The bright yellow really makes it stand out, I been wanting to do yellow for along time. Now here it is! I call it, the Caution Box tongue.gif

Enjoy guys, and sorry the pix so large.

That looks heavy, although i do notice a lack of LEDs, and the blue led fan looks a bit out of place. You really ned to change the front LEDs aswell. Im sure this could be a really nice mod once it has some more work done on it.

I was wondering if you could take of pic of just the HDD stand because i wanted to see how much you cut away of it for the 80mm fan. But i think it looks awesome. I don't mind yellow cause my mom has a bright yellow ZR5 truck so i kinda got use to it. But that is an awesome case. Good Work.

He cut away alot more than necessary for the 80 mm fan. Looks like from the HDD back there isnt anything there, All you need to do is cut right beside that horizontal piece on the back of the caddy (that goes on the top of the fan) all the way to where there's another black vertical piece that sits in front of the fan. then cut over, I just took the 80 mm, put it in the case, then looked at how it sat and cut accordingly,

With the smoke, I'm not a fan of the yellow and blue mix inside it, I'd like to see it with it's top on though before I make a judgement

Ya it does look like there is a little more cut away but i was just wondering what it looked like.

And don't worry about another pic of the HDD Stand cause there is already a good one i just missed it cause i didn't no there were 3 pic across.

while we are on the subject, is there any way to make a 80mm fan fit w/o breaking the fan clips off?

i hate to cut my LE case at all

I was just thinking since the inside is yellow it might look good with that yellow IDE Cable from llama.com.
