i ve never done this before so,

what kind of lens do i have to get?

where can i buy it?

how much is it?

how do u replace it??any tutorials?

is it worth it?

will it work 100%?

should i just get a new dvd drive?and wats the difference in costs?



all this is cuz my thomson wont read any media no more.....GRRRRRR

A guy on ebay sells the complete. Laser assy for 10.99
If you are unsure about fitting get a replacement drive.

just curious, if i replaced my drive with a new thomson or sammy do i just plug the broken one out and plug the new sammy/thomson in?? and thats it and then i can start playing again rite?

just get a new samsung... all youll need to do it unplug and replug the new one in... (same with all xbox drives) and lazer replacement is a little dificult if youre a noob.

what about if you have a mod chip? i heard u have to mod the drive..?!

do u have to and why?
