Hello;

I have a xbox PAL region 4 version 1.0
Something went wrong when I was flashing my EEPROM (I supose).
I've changed my region to 1 with config magic; and I also accidently changed the
video signal to NTSC.
OK; my xbox still works fine, but the signal is not clear on tv; because of the NTSC problem.
When I flash it back to PAL, Region 4 in configmagic; the signal stays in NTSC mode.
It also says NTSC 4:3 in xbmc's system info.
But when I load my EEPROM in configmagic; it gives me a PAL, Region 4.

Could someone help me;

Reboot after making any changes.

And if it still doesn't work I think XBMC holds settings in its XML or something.

Reboot after making any changes.

And if it still doesn't work I think XBMC holds settings in its XML or something.

I've already done that...

I unlocked the HD in configmagic;
loaded the original EEPROM
changed the video signal in PAL, Region 4
updated the EEPROM
reloaded the updated EEPROM
locked the HD again
and then I've turned the xbox off and turned it back on.

And the videosignal stays fuzzy.
I think that the NTSC signal couses that.
And before I turned my xbox into NTSC; XBMC showed me
PAL as video signal. And now it tells me that the signal is NTSC.

It's very anoying. Is there anyone that had the same problem?

Try switching the vid' signal in XBMC.

I think XBMC might have some config crap that messes it back up on you.

the video signal is not only fuzzy in XBMC;
It's also a mess if I play DVD-video's; games; EvoluxtionX and so on...

Damn; Is my x-box fried up now; is it a non reversable mistake that I've made;
