I was thinking of taking my xbox mobo plus a wires kit for an x2 to a tv repair shop in hopes of getting it soldered, plus get it done cheaply. Would anyone advise against it?

Thanks for your input

Unless you have HIGHLY detailed instructions and TRUST the person doing it, I would TOTALLY advise against it

Do you know the person doing it? Or, is this some place on the corner that you have never been to before?
