I did a TSOP and harddrive install for a friend. Box was working fine for several months, and had built quite a collection of games (approx. 50) on his 120GB harddrive. He let another friend of his borrow the box for a day, and when he got it back it was like his games partition had just disappeared. He also noticed it was taking considerably longer to boot to his dashboard (Avalaunch). Partitions "C" and "E" along with all his programs were intact, but it was as if he only had the stock 8GBs.

I need to know if there is any possible way to recover this lost partition without losing the data. I have only gotten as far as being able to browse the directory structure by connecting the harddrive to my computer and booting up xboxhdm (thanks ldots). Is there maybe a way to rebuild a corrupt partition? FATX partitioning tools are scarce...
