I don't really know what the problem is but think this is a possibility.

Like many, I use the ace skin Project Mayhem 2.. I contacted the guy that makes it and asked if he could help me remove the annoying text wraparound effect in the menu. He emailed me with the help I needed. However, when I set wraparound to No in the home.xml, and enter the settings menu, make adjustments, then return, I end up with four or five 'Settings' in the menu. Moving up will remove all but one. Anyone know what is doing this and more to the point how to stop.

Much respect to the makers of XBMC, it is simply brilliant. beerchug.gif

It's a bug then.

Please outline the EXACT steps that I'd need to replicate it, and I'll look into it.

I've had the same problem with trying to disable the wraparound but managed to get it working properly.

Here's a link to (hopefully) help you solve it:

I hate to tell you, but that is NOT a very good solution. It has ZERO customizability for the average user - the user has to edit that particular skin in order to alter buttons. With the button scroller, they can do it from within XBMC.

The REAL solution is to fix the bug in the button scroller.

Please give me the EXACT steps needed to replicate the problem and I'll see what I can do.
