I just finished installing evox, and I was testing out the ability to backup games on the HDD. I was trying it out with ghost recon. Everything was much smoother and faster (mostly the menus). I was amazed with the improvement, I guess becuase HDDs are much faster then the dvd player.

Errr.. so how is that "better quality"? Only thing I see is load times are faster... doesnt make the quality of the game/graphics any better.

[I]I didn’t say better graphics.

When I play ghost recon off the cd:

*There is a little pause, or glitch when you use an explosive for the first time. It is nothing major is it is just a little annoying.

*Have you every played ghost recon? when you try to select characters there is a small pause between whom you are highlighting. It is really annoying. You press left and it selects the left person like 1.5 secs later.

When I play ghost recon off my HDD:

*No more pause when you use explosives for the first time

*There is no pause (or a very small one, .1 secs?) between character selects

This is what I have knowdeced for Ghost recon only, I have not tryed any other games yet, I bet there will be simular improvments

PS. ”Whoa, Hdd Rip Are Better Quality” *I meant HDD rips*

When you say CD do you mean original or ripped to CD? If its original then its a DVD and yes the hard drive will load faster but thats about it. If you are playing from a CD though the laoding times get alot longer.
