I am having trouble flashing my bioxx chip. It is recognized and I did the blank check and all is good. The problem is when I load up a bios (evox d6) and try to program it tellls me the device isn't blank??? I am using windows xp if that makes a difference.
Thanks

okay ...little FAQ (sorry for my bad english)

PC-BioXX or OpenXBox (V2 and V4)

- with this Tool don`t play XBL (dosn`t work or erase your Tool)
- you need a 1024 kb File

witch Bios?

get a X2 Bios V1.0 = 2.6 and V1.1 = 3.6

when u press EJECT (original Software you see M$ on Bootscreen)
when u press POWER (own Software you see Xecuter2 on Bootscreen)

PC-BioXX or OpenXBox (V5)

- you can play XBL (start with EJECT the original Software and go)
- same Features

NitroXX

- same Features
- you can play XBL (start with EJECT the original Software and go)
- you can get 4x256,2x512 or 1x1024 kb Files
- you can get RF Unit to Switch Software (optional)
- you can select : Power on/off and DVD open/close (optional)

and many other goodies

Flasher-Software 1.3 or 1.4 (work fine with all : OpenXBox,PC-BioXX and NitroXX)
Flasher-Software 1.4 (for NitroXX ...you can select Banks and configure your Switch)

Cu Stephan

hope this can help a little....

OK everybody I found the solution. Someone said you can't use evox d6, well you can. If you are using a openxbox/pcbioxx you need to use a 1mb bios file. Evox d6 is 256k so you need a small prog to make it 1mb and then it will load fine. This was not made clear anywhere.I looked for help everywhere and no one was able to help me.
Thanks
