ive been tryin to get my laptop to connect to my xbox for weeks and i have managed to connect it once but since then the ip address doe not show up.
I have connected my crossover cable from my laptop to my xbox and my xbox searches for the ip but it comes up 0.0.0.0.
Do u need to use a static ip address and if so what is the address i am suppose to use or where can i find it?

If you haven't already check this FTP GUIDE. it tells you the settings everything needs to be on..
