Hi thanks for reading, i hope someone can help me.. brief story so far.

Old Hard Drive went wrong in my unchipped xbox, decided to chip and bought a 120gb hard drive.
After a few probs and lots of reading I installed chip xec 2.6 and flashed bios, installed hard drive and installed slayers etc.. everything works fine and i am ftp'ing from my pc with flash fxp.

Now the problem!!!!!!!!!
Since I did all the above my DVD drive says it cannot recognise any Xbox game disks. The thing is it worked fine before I changed the Hard Drive and stuff.

Does anyone know what I need to do? It still reads and plays music cd's but not any original xbox games.

Please Help

Probably an old thompson drive crapping out on you. Nothing to do with the chip or hard drive. You could try the pot tweak - tut here:

pot tweak

Worked for me, but my drive would boot the game then whenever it had to load anything it would give me a dirty disk error.
