I`m searching for as much info as possible before I
commit to a decision concerning modding my Xbox

Where I`m stuck is on choice of a chip , such as
XECUTOR 2 or XALX XALX2+ or YBOX , I`ve even
discovered someone who says he will mod my Xbox
without a mod chip , I guess he just flashes the bios .

Can I please get advice on which is best / method to use
& what should be my concerns & specs of modding my Xbox
with one or the other .

Ie : does one possibly run more games than another Ie from all regions
or has one more potential to somehow damage my xbox or its laser ,
or may one have more features & bells & whistles than the other .

what are their individual desirable points & limitations etc....

i`ve read lots of reviews , & I was leaning toward Xecutor 2 , but @ least one
reviewer called it garbage , & placed XALX2+ as the best one .

PS is xecutor 3 out yet ? or will it be ?

Thank you m8`s

anyone who says XALX2+ is better then x2 is simply bias because he gets more money from an install on it. as far as options go....

by far the best solution, most options, makes harddrive upgrades easy, and can be turned off to use xbox live. x3 is the best modchip in my oppinion, but x2's are great as well.

TSOP flash
has the features of a modchip, except if you go to flash it and screw up, your screwed. also it can't be turned off to go on xbox live, and a version 1.6 xbox can't be tsop flashed

this uses a software exploit which loads a hacked bios. this method is the worst of the bunch since there is more room for error, and a MS update could render it useless. also as far as i know softmod means no xbox live. it also requires the hardderive to be locked, which makes harddrive upgrades a pain in the ass.

and yes, the x3 has been out for a while now.

I have used 2 of those XALX2+R3 chips a while back and do you know what they are a good chip. They have a back up bios bank as well as the flashable regular one and are a doddle to install.
Depends what you want to spend and Do. Consider the Duo X2 also cheap 2 bios banks and easy install.
Its personal choice really and if money was not a factor then I would have to get the Xenium or an X3

The email notify doesn't always work now. Not for me anyway.
