I have xbox 1.6b with smatrxx v2 chip and 200Gb HD mod. patched evox M8+ bios

I have installed linux on the E: drive but I think i could make better use of the drive (ie: still room for saved games) if I could put it on the G: drive. Has anyone tried this yet?

Just snooping a bit throught the installation scripts I noticed that it may be possible to relocate the swap and root partitions to the g: drive by changing the start blocks in the /usr/lib/xbox/partdisk.sh, but I have no idear what to change it to. Also after that I am not sure what else will need to be changed, still looking,...

Any advice would be freakin sweet! ph34r.gif

Don't quote me on this but if you were to use the GentooX FTP installation method, I do believe you can place the files anywhere you want.

Just an idea.
