Now you have no excuse for not making your own presets! This is the 'hexbe' of UIX! at #xbins now!

anyway in order to work, this tool needs the .NET Framework Version 1.1 installed on your pc, it's available on kro$oft's official site or simply through an "windows update" of your "fav" os :|

cool little prog, just been having a fiddle with it.

is anyone going to make a rough guide for this ?
its been so long since i fiddled with the xbox stuff i am struggling to catch up.

Ok i made a preset, but how do i make it a skin with only an xbx file? i tried to remove the blue.xbx from the blue skin and add me new xbx but the skin was still mostly blue.

well i am lost like you m8 i actually edited the example materials config file and saved it with the xbx option and got my new config file and xbx file but do not know where to put the new xbx file ??

It sure does shed a lot of lite into the darkness! But a real more n00b proof guide would be a lot better. Because that is kind of confusing, because they dont exactly point out whats what.

yeah i wish there was a tuturiol because the kanaberra site was for thc and the files in uix are different from that. Yeah i know some are the same but alot of them are different and its hard to know what it is. LIke when its named material 1339 or something, you have no clue. I want to make my own preset but i cant because i dont know what each file changes.

okay I finally read the post that says I have to open the "name".xbx to change colors. I got that . But how the hell do I open it MCP. Do I have to convert it to .xml?

no, you dont need to put for example the "blue.xbx" into mcp. what you can do is edit the default xml file in MCP and then when you save it. You will select uix and it will make an xbx file for you. Then you just add that xbx to the other files and make sure the xbx is named the same as the folder it in and thats it biggrin.gif

Thx Blaster. I figured out how to use the MCP Prog. I was able to change what I wanted to in the first place.
