Xbox v1.0
Xenium Ice w/ OS 2.0.1

I am getting ready to install the hacked BIOS to my Xenium

I should FTP the following files to C:\ prior to flashing,

Evolution-X M8 BIOS
-------------------------
m8.bin
m8_16.bin

Xecuter 2 4983 BIOS
-------------------------
x2_4983.06_512k.bin
x2_4983.67_512k.bin

Am I correct? and write them to Flash?

for a version 1.0 use m8.bin not m8_16.bin that is for 1.6 only and also put the files on e drive not c or use a cd and put them there

Thanks for the info. I am istalling both so that i can play with each one and see which one I will keep.

So copy M8.bin to E:\

What about the 4983 bios? copy x2_4983.06_512k.bin? I assume the other is for a v1.6.

the one that says 67 is for a F and G drive for large hds. the one that just says 06 is for a large F and no G drive, stick with the 06 though. it won't matter either way if you don't have a 137+ hd though.

Thanks for the help everyone. I am glad I asked first, who knows what kind of trouble I would have gotten into if I did not ask
