Sorry, I posted this in the wrong section the first time and couldn't delete my post:

I've seen links to qualitymods.com on several websites.
DO NOT use this company if you value your property and sanity.

After keeping my xbox for 2 and a half months, they sent it back, unopened.

Buy an Xodus or Xecuter 2 if you aren't technically inclined, but don't waste your time with these mongoloids.

Actually this was our fault. We had a time period where work wasn't getting done. I'm glad you got your unit back and I can understand your anger. This period has passed and you were fully refunded.

Your exactly right (except for the last part of your post). Rather then even trying to explain what happened I will take the backlash for this as it was my fault for not being present to make sure things were ran the way they were supposed to be.

Things happen with mod companies you would be suprised but unlike other companies (not going to mention names) we send items back and give refunds. We dont hold onto your consoles or your money. This particular case did take a while to take care of but it was indeed taken care of.

Before this problem came about people will tell you nothing but good things about us and in the following weeks it will once again be like that. New customers will see that we are indeed back to the level of service we were at when we first entered the scene.

Once again I didn't want to mention any names and they may be on that list but there are many more and they weren't even the ones I was referring to. Not trying to shift blame here as I take full blame for what happened in this situation.

muhaha.gif I have no idea why xbox-scene continues to support this scamming bullshit company by placing its ad on their front page. I figured xbox-scene.com is a respectible website, they wouldn't set their loyal followers up. Not the case...qualitymods is the biggest scam ever...I have like 15-20 e-mails that people sent me stating they were ready to lynch the fuckup owner of the company, Marcus Barnes. The guy is now trying to pass off some piece of crap Aladdin modchip as the next best thing since sliced bread...unbelievable. They also charge you for a bullshit "bios selection switch" to toggle the mod on an off...but he does this with the harddrive swapped machines...so basically the switch toggles between working and not working.

Anyway, you are warned...if you send your box in ,you won't see it again any time soon. For the soldering handicapped, do yourself a favor and buy an Xodus or xecuter 2 with pogo pins...

You say you don't hold onto money? My fucking ass...I sent my xbox to you for 35 dollars and paid 95 to you for work to be done in a timely manner. You only refunded the 95 bucks...seems I wiped my ass with 35 bucks...and how do you put a price tag on the opportunity costs of not having my property for over two months and the hassle and frustration you put me through by not answering my repeated e-mail inquires for weeks at a time. It took my contacting a lawyer on behalf of about 10 other people ripped off by your half ass company to get my box back and the fucking thing was never even opened. I will continue to bad mouth this bullshit in every chat room and bulletin board on the scene including yours if you ever have the balls to put it up again.

Once again we have refunded all money paid to us for a service if we did not complete the service so nobody was "ripped" off. Your time is valuable and I can only apologize for wasting it.

i have been missing my ps2 since september what problems have you had?

You don't know me but we have something in common. I sent my X-box off Sept.25 2002 with a chip already in it to be looked at. I am still waiting for it and on top of that they said on Nov.15 2002 they lost it and would update me this Monday to tell me if they can fix my X-box with the chip. If they lost it how can they look at it. Makes no sense. Also my X-box worked fine but the chip inside maybe had a bad connection. My X-box should work perfectly. The only thing that would stop it from working properly is them. Only thing I will accept from them is telling me it was a bad chip, which I got from gamegizmo. When did you send your X-box to them and what did you ask them to do? My wait is up to almost 2 months. Thanks for taking the time to read this, if you can or have time please reply back with your experience.

Uhmm where are these hard drive modded systems you are talking about? We haven't "stole" anything. You got your xbox and your money so how did we "Steal" from you? Tons of companies have backorders or delays and when customers no longer want to wait they offer a refund and thats exactly what we did. You got your money back and your console back. I can understand your bitterness but dont go at xbox-scene for having our banner up.

werd thanks for replacing the xbox dvd-rom. (it came
thurs. this email is late) ralli sport works now and
before it didn't on my other dvd-rom before tweaking
(btw ralli sport is the actual game NOT a backup) I got
Enclave PAL to work and Star Wars which worked before
starts to boot but then goes to the "disc is dirty"
screen. I'm gonna try a dvd-rom swap thing or just keep
booting, i'm def not gonna tweak the laser this time,
lol.

I received my PS2 installed with a Magic 2 chip by weeks end as promised and
I am extremely pleased! The only thing I had trouble figuring out was why I
couldn't play my dvd games after playing a cd game, but then I figured out
that you had to put the dvd in, power off completely, then turn it back
on...So you might want to include some instructions with each order. But
overall, things seem to be working great. Thanks again!

All is cleared up now but he will of course keep posting this crap. That is his perogative and I understand where he is coming from. I would be upset also so more power to him.

The only thing funny to "lol" about is the fact that all the "e-mails" you posted were posts from your now extinct bulletin board and were placed there roughly about last summer give or take a month or two. I and other dissatisfied customers might make up a small portion of your total customer history, but for the last three months it's probably closer to 100%. You are only as good as your last job and frankly that's shit.

None of these were from my forums. If you want I will post with email headers and I didn't carry Magic 2 chips last summer my friend. I deleted names and email headers to protect customers information.
