I have already backed my EEPROM up b4 using Evox but one of my friends only had unleashx on his xbox, where as i have ava, evox, and unleashx all installed. So the one thing i cant figure is if there is a backup function on unleashx and if so how do i get to it to run it. I need this information to upgrade his HD using xboxhdm

you will need to run evox as an app and backup the eeprom.
Just add in the files with ftp and add some script in the config.xml

Take care

Ive added the files for evox and tried to run it by selecting the .xbe file in the file manager and it acts like its gonna load but then it just goes back to unleashx. Maybe i need to just uninstall unleashx for the moment and install evox by itself

to Killazincorp
blackdragon is right run as and app and make sure the ini file is in the same folder.
like
--<folder>
--evox's [default.xbe]
--evox's [evox.ini]

add place in the apps menu.
