I have read all the guides i can find on the SMB on XP Pro issue... I can attach from other Windows machines to my shares, but not from XBMC...
I have set the permissions on the share AND the NTFS rights too, nothing seems to help, tried to disable firewall...

You made a new account?

Lets say you name it smbxbox and have the password set to xboxsmb

Edit your xboxmediacenter.xml´s smb shares with the new username and password and off you go.

Turn of simple filesharing too.....
