ok so i tried atapwd to erase my hdd and remove the password and all on my hdd but when i finished i got and error that said ERROR: BUSY time-out can you help

You can only format your hdd (for use in a PC) once it is unlocked (or you could hotswap search for a tutorial - this also unlocks the hdd). To unlock it you will need the hdd password generated from your xbox's eeprom. You will need a modded system of some sort and then use ConfigMagic or the backup feature in EvoX. Then download XboxHDM and put your eeprom in the eeprom folder. Then burn the cd and boot it and use option 3 with the Linux locking tools. Then type in unlockhd -a and it will automatically unlock the hdd using your eeprom. Then you can format it just like you would a normal hdd. beerchug.gif
