Chip kept fragging so gave it a once over.
like a total spoonfed i tried (slightly) lifting the corners of the lpc rebuild pcb to see if the Lads points were soldered, they all were, But where i lifting the bored up it took the solder point up with the pcb!

So whats the easiest way of soldering pin 8(LAD2) back? I have tried tracing it to the top of the mb but cant find it sad.gif

edit, OMG, it gets worse! it even frags without the chip now!!! arggghhh

Cheers sirs

edit, chip = 2.6 ce - version = 1.6

There are alternate (top) points to solder to - just google it.

You could try and trace where the track goes and solder to that perhaps.

I hate to say it, but those 'pin holes' are possible to solder to!! They are the little termination pads for the traces - you have to be careful tho !

I'm still looking for a link for thr top points diag but they rely on the same size points to solder to mostly.

Cheers Jonrees, ur a star.
Just digging thru my wire now, looking for some small stuff, i got kynar wire here somewhere.
Once i find it i will solder to the bottom termination pad then to finish the trace to the point on the upside of the MB yeah?

So all i need is those diagrams smile.gif

Does anyone else know where i can get the diagrams of the topside LAD points?

cheers Sir

This was on the team Xodus site - I assume the points wil l still be correct tho as most chips need the sae connections. Also this hould be a 1.6.

Good luck.

Jon
