I've been trying to transfer files onto my xbox via Windows Explorer. I have had success transfering files via FTP, however, I would like the abilitity to do this on Windows Explorer (WinXP) aswell to allow better backup functionality.

Currently, I can see the Xbox as part of my Network, however, I can not copy any files to it through Windows Explorer due to the files/folders on my Xbox not having the right permissions.

If anyone can help me overcome this current problem or advise me if there is a better way to enable real time files backups from a Windows XP - Xbox machine, I would be most greatful.

Thanks in advance

Would an FTP Client automatically mirror the contents of a specific folder on my WinXP machine onto the Xbox?

This is basically what I am trying to achieve ...

NOTE: I would really like a program that does the updates in real time (not scheduled rune) and does not need me to prompt it to make the backup.......

are there any ftp clients that could do the above?
