Connecting Pc To Xbox

when i hook up my pc to my xbox do i need to have the xbox hooked up to the tv ? does it need to be on ?

the tv doesnt have to be on i guess, but the xbox has to be on for you to do anything with it

Not necassarily but it does need to be on and loaded to the dash or whatever is running your FTP server. So you would need to have it hooked up to the set at least long enough to navigate into your dash. Take a look at Mr. Robinsons networking guide for instructions on FTP.

What i do: Powercable, Video cable and Network cable.

The xboxs LED will blink orange if you dont plug the video cable, wich means the xbox will stop the startup sequence and a restart is needed. Just Plug ALL the cables(no contrllers needed). Power- Video- and Network cable. FTP is now available!

I have no experience with trainers (dont intend to use them) so, sorry. Maybe i can help with something else, but not this.

i just want to play around on KOTOR 2 , thanks for the help earlier , but my only other problem is i went to the trainer section and the one i wanted said addon for v.6 but v.6 was for the original KOTOR , guess ill just throw them both on and hope it doesnt mess it up
