Is it clicking or is it normal HD access noise? The only reason I ask is because Halo2 is the noisiest game that I have on my HD. The disk is constantly going all through the intro screens and main menu. Doesn't stop until the level is loaded.

only clicks ive ever gotten were from bad drives. its not a good thing, i would quit playing it until you resolve the clicking.

When the xbox boots up i get the normal access noise. The clicking i get with halo is totally different. I had halo 2 on a different xbox's hdd and it played fine without any sounds whatsoever. This is the second game i've put on this hdd, Ninja Gaiden was the first and it plays fine.

I had the same problem whenever I played halo 2 during the loading times I kept getting very load clicks from my hard drive. But all my other games ran no prob. I have NFSU2,Burnout 3, Ghostrecon 2, and Halo 2. I just deleted halo 2 and no more problems. I rather play it safe and not mess up THe hard drive.

Hmhhh...

I noticed that, too!
I think it's normal hard drive access. My drive is a brand spanking new Maxtor 120 GB. I've never had issues with it yet, so I doubt it is the drive's fault. I don't have any issues running the game. The clicking seems only to happen when a new level is loaded.
