yes my friend, they have bein anounced over half a year ago, (still in development) and hopfully xbox 2 will be using them, imagine playing halo were each level is as big as gta sam andres!

but i dont think they will be "dvd compatible" which means your xbox will not be able to read it, its like the dvd for ps1 you can put about 4-5 games but its complety differnt format, so the ps1 will not read it!

i have also being hearing about hdd burn, i dont know much about that can anyone give some interesting info about it?

well i did know it was OLD OLD OLD and i started 2 thread because 1 is in backup fourm and other is in tech fourm

Good job as they aren't appropriate for either forum! muhaha.gif

Moving them both to the off topic forum.

And for the record, they are already shipping them in Japan (to consumers) and have been I believe for over a year.

There's even an experimental version of the disc made of basically paper.

so sweet though. I never thought they would catch on though, due to most people just buying a DVD player (most regular users wont upgrade that soon). But then I read about a dual format version, and that is cool!
