Looks decent. It's really hard to tell. I'm very anti ebay and know a lot of things on ebay are lied about. Buyt if that guys reviews look decent and the product looks decent then Id say go for it, if it's what you want.

Ill admit I haven't spent $20 on a jewel either. And there's some I like quite a bit. And without trying to sound cocky, I'm sure I have a larger bankroll then the average modder. But 20 bucks is a coupe of pizzas or gas for my truck for the week.

Exactly, same here. Where did you get your jewel or did you just do the sandpaper trick?

I used toothpaste and an old tooth brush and some time. Bear in mind it may take an hour to get it all clear, but that's the way some projects are.

So basically all you did was freeze the top of your xbox case and then slap right behind were the jewel is and then get the jewel and put tooth paste all of it until the green stuff comes off?

Yeah, I just put a little paste on the brush and brushed it alot. The paint will come off with a bit of work. The freezer thing is exactly right. I wouldn't use a hammer tho. Maybe a shoe or something like that, just to be sure you dont break the plastic. I find it works amazingly well. I was stunned the first time I did it.

Do you think it will work by slapping it with my hand?

Try it and find out. A slipper or something else thats not REAL hard will work though. It comes off FAIRLY easy. I guess it really depends how hard to wanna hit it with your hand. beerchug.gif

Ive heard crazy glue can discolor the clear plastic. I used hot glue. If not that maybe epoxy of some sort. The biggest issue is using only a little.

I am looking at my xbox jewel right now and it appeares that the top of it is all plastic and from what I can see is that the green paint is at the bottom of the jewel
