Ftp Problem

for some reason, i cant ftp to my xbox...i can when i have my boot disc i can, but when it isnt i cant...it says my ip is 192.168.blah blah blah...but thats not it,..how can i fix this?

Change the Evox settings or your FTP client settings to match.

Read this. If that can't help you, neither can I.

Do all of the network settings match?
Try making the subnet mask 255.255.255.0
and the default gateway 1.1.1.1
(both computer and xbox)

Try that.
Also try the program flashfxp

thanks for the advice but..ive already checked all that stuff and i am using flash fxp lol, its weird, its saying my computers ip is different from what it should be??? i dunno maybe my computer is just acting up and not changing my static ip to what i tell it?

Look...read that guide Xombe posted for you again. If you still need help
post back but give more information. Your setup? Crossover? Swith/Router?
Run ipconfig /all and post the output of that here along with the all the
xbox network addressing.

try using internet explorer to ftp
type in address bar: ftp://xbox:xbox@192.168.0.101 (of course substitute for your IP)
if it works then you know flash fxp is causing the problem
