Are they the right size between pins??

Yeah they are regular pin headers that come with chips, just not the new longer one that the X3 uses.

llama only carries the 12 pin headers. wonder if they'll update ?

They are 80 pin.... You should be able to cut them in 12 pin setups or what ever is needed?
