I Have a 36 inch Sony WEGA, even though is NOT Hi Def, is capable of 480i quality...(dont know what that means, but I know its better than the regular a/v cords)

In order for it to work I know you need a Advanced A/V Pack, for 20 bucks. The the component cords for 30-40 more dollars. But I saw this Mad Catz Component A/V for TEN DOLLARS!

Will this do what the combination of things would do, for 50 dollars cheaper?? 10 bucks??

If so any less in quality or anything??

Thanks...

480i is the same as a regular TV. it's the lowest resolution.

buying component cables will improve your picture quality but itwont be high definition. you will notice a difference tho.

i suggest buying a MS HD pack for $20

Yeah I knew it was the lowest, but I did NOT know it was just reg. TV.
I thought it was a step-up w/o going HD.

Yeah I know it CAN'T be HD unless your TV is capable of it...and someone else said "I'll notice a difference though"

Hmmmmm, acually... I think you helped me make up my mind for the Mad Catz cable for 9.99 instead of the HD Pack for 20 and cable for 30-40 (50-60 bucks all together) for two reasons...

...price...

...and because my TV is NOT HD....and you said 480 IS REG tv...so why would I need an HD Pack if I won't be able to watch it in HD??? The Mad Catz would put out 480 quality just as good as the MS Pack, right??

Thanks for your help...
