Someone bought a hard drive from me, and sent me their eeprom.bin to lock it for them, so they can softmod it when it arrives. It is for a 1.0, and I don't have any 1.0 xboxes. I've read that the 1.0 EEPROM is different, correct? So what method should I use to lock it? I am currently waiting for a response to see if he has the txt file with the password in it.

There's probably a PC program to do this, but I don't know which one. Any suggestions as to the best way to do this are appreciated. Thanks.

I hope this is what your talking about. You just want to lock, right?

The program you need is HDD Unlock/Lock/Disable that is available here:

Lock Hard Drive via PC Tool

Hope it helps. I had to lock too awhile ago to play Halo 2, and used these tools.

OK, I found a 1.0 and used that. (It's sad when you have so many xboxes you lose track of them.) Anyways, sorry for the worthless post, but thanks for the reply.
