nope, the box will flash back to where it booted from. If you boot from the lpc (like your spice chip), it will flash there and not the tsop.

If you do a 29-wire mod, you can reflash the tsop.

Use your chip to ftp a softmod into place.. Then boot the softmod and flash the tsop.. Easy as pie, I sugest using raincoat rather than evox to flash..

here is the easiest least effort way

make a bios that loads D:/default1.xbe and put it on your spice

make a boot disc, default1.xbe will be a softmod autoinstaller, default.xbe will be from the eurasia flashdisc

solder the write enable points and install your chip

pop in your all-in-one boot disc, it will install the softmod

disable/remove the chip, and boot the cd again, it should now load eurasia and flash the bios

Which eurasia installer are you referring to, the 2 cd one where you have the first cd (loader) as an xiso and a second cd with just the bios on it? Is there a softmod autoinstaller you recommend for this? I've done a lot of Tsop mods with the Mechassaut game save exploit but would love for a reasonable way of repairing an onboard without desoldering it. This sounds almost too good to be true biggrin.gif

Also, How is the cd reboot done without restarting the xbox? Is it from the cd menu or from the modchip? (The only modchip I've ever used is a 29 wire) And if it is from the modchip, will any 4th gen chip work? Sorry about all the questions but if this works you just made my week beerchug.gif

Any softmod installing package will work.. I suggest mine or krayzie's.. Also, there is no real need to burn a cd.. Any gamesave package with raincoat can be ftp'd to the hdd and run manually.. Whichever way you do it, the results should be the same..
