I have tried every form of recordable media to get music onto my xbox....nothing works, i think i have the very first xbox ever made....but anyway. i figured you can just ftp the music over to the xbox hdd. I put a different hdd in there and I was wondering a few things:

1. Where is the folder/location you put the music so that a game will recognize it in the soundtrack menu.

2. What format does the music have to be in.

3. How exactly do you make a "soundtrack" without using a cd of any sort

for more info:

i have the Slayer's EvoX 2.6 dashboard if that helps with navigation.

Thanks in advance.

They are in wma format and they are somewhere either in TDATA or UDATA. I can't remember exactly where. I'm not sure if just copying wma files over would work though... I use the xbox music mixer to do this, but I'm sure there must be a free program to do this.
