Anyone know how I would fix this? Everything is on default. This happens when I'm playing a video file with subtitles embedded or with a seperate subtitle file. The control panel will turn black like that when playing any kind of video files. This is the 5-2-05 build.

I don't have any issues with it, and I'm using the same build. Try deleting the XBMC stuff on E drive, and make sure you're using Project Mayhem III.

open the movie settings by pressing Y on the controller during a movie and select the button with the video camera. move the brightness slider up to about 34 by pressing and holding right on the d-pad. its the sixth option down coz i realise you cant see it!

hope this helps

niall mc, thank you very much, i don't know how the contrast option and brightness got so low. I've tried deleing the xbmc files and upload it again, but the same thing happen. I guess the settings are located in the E: drive, which i didn't delete. Skyblast, do you know where the xbmc stuff are located on the e: drive?
