I am guessing that you have a Wi-Fi router and your xbox is connected to that router using an ethernet cable. All you have to do is use an FTP Program (ex. FlashFXP) on your computer to connect to your xbox. Even though this tutorial is old and outdated, it has a good FTP tut to begin with, Only do the first 2 steps and the first 2 pics of step 3.

Any chip would work, or a softmod, or a TSOP flash.

You should really research about modding an xbox before you rush into it.
**EDIT**
P.S. The kind of mod you can do is restricted by what version your xbox is.

OMG, search. There are many tuts for this on xbox-scene and many in the forums.

P.S. it depends what xbox version you have for that solderless adapter. There is a guide for it on xbox-scene.
