The tides of war know many shores in this sport we call professional wrestling. As independent wrestling stars from not only Southern but also Northern California vie for their crowning day in the spotlight, a new proving ground has been discovered in Hybrid Pro Wrestling. From crime & punishment to saints & sinners, the only resolution is the chaos and clamor of Sin & Punishment.

On April 23rd, 2005, before a record-setting crowd for the American Legion Hall, Hybrid Pro Wrestling showed the entire wrestling world just what “Retaliation” was all about. The unruly visitors comprised of “Ridiculous” Mike Rayne and “The Trendsetter” Adam Thornestowe staked Northern California’s claim on HPW by defeating (read: upsetting) the teams of Los Chivos (Kayam & Enigma D’Oro) and The Santinos Brothers (Kaos & El Mongol). Rayne now brings regular tag team partner, “Super” Dave Drexler as they look to continue their Southern California winning streak against national independent sensations, the AxP – Quicksilver & Scorpio Sky in the main event.

The Northern California-Southern California rivalry continues to grow through the rest of the card as well. Established sensations Vinnie Massaro and Dante will take on Phoenix Star and Zokre, formerly of the now-defunct Revolution Pro Wrestling – a staple in Southern California talent and excitement for years. Vinnie and Dante say that although they respect the ring savvy and abilities of their Lucha Libre counterparts, the Northern California natives will stop at nothing to prove themselves in what they say is an “obviously biased environment”.

Even more tag action will be witnessed at Sin & Punishment. Kaos & Mongol are looking to absolutely destroy Biggie Biggz & Charles Mercury (along with their lovely manager, Jezebel). The Santinos Brothers are looking for revenge against anyone and anyone after their upsetting loss at “Retaliation”.

Hybrid Pro Wrestling has an “open door” policy and invites all wrestlers from all of the world and all walks of life. Angel, from the mean, tough streets of Way Way West Hollywood, took HPW up on this invitation and made a stunning & entertaining debut during Retaliation’s opening match. Angel is looking to start a new winning streak for a new company. However, NorCal’s Rick Vandal has different ideas for the “Hardcore Homo” and plans to send him back to West Hollywood with all of his “Cher-impersonating friends.”

“Photogenic” Chris Bosh is definitely growing to be the most popular wrestler in Southern California. His legions of fans have dubbed themselves the “Bosh World Order” and the troupe’s “unofficial president” follows Bosh wherever he goes. Bosh may have the fan support and the ever-growing following but he may have bit off more than he could chew when his pen met the dotted line. His opponent? Orange County’s own Lil Cholo – who is looking to big and better things in HPW. He said facing Bosh is a “golden opportunity he can’t pass up to climb Hybrid Pro’s ladder to success.”

At “Retaliation”, Brawlin’ Bo Cooper and Cyanide had a bloody, hardcore brawl that nearly tore each other & Culver City apart! After Bo Cooper & Cyanide brawled to the American Legion Hall’s parking lot, they ended up beating each other up senseless into the BACK OF AN AMBULANCE! Unfortunately for the fans, a winner was not declared because someone drove the ambulance away. Cooper & Cyanide broke out of the back of the ambulance on the 110 Freeway before the mystery driver could be subdued. The HPW Board of Directors later investigated this and discovered that it was none other than Xtreme Loco who drove the ambulance, trying to throw himself into the spotlight. As Brawlin’ Bo Cooper and Cyanide prepare for the first Stretcher Match is Southern California in years at Sin & Punishment, the HPW Board Of Directors will be selecting a new commissioner to deal with the actions of Xtreme Loco!

Hybrid Pro Wrestling says this will be their most explosive show yet. With a myriad of action-packed and exciting matches and surely some surprises thrown into the mix, Sin & Punishment pans out to live up to its name. If you are looking to experience top notch wrestling action and smash mouth sports entertainment excitement at a fraction of the cost for what you see on TV, experience Sin & Punishment from Hybrid Pro Wrestling, live in Culver City, California.
