So Xbox has been sitting there for a while now. Haven't played it in a while (except for about 10 minutes the other night where Xb0x_Mod kicked my ass in Moto GP!). There's not too many games I'm looking forward to over the horizon so I thought I'd give PC gaming another go. My current graphics card is, well, SHIT. I'm not big into the PC thing so I don't know what kind of card is the best. I'm willing to spend at an absolute maximum $200. Some people like their GeForce cards while others like their Radeons and I'm sure there are others out there too. What card is the best for about the amount of money? Thanks guys. beerchug.gif

WTF r u smoking?!
Radeon 9000 Pro 128mb = $90

Anyways...I would recommend the Geforce 4 TI 4200 128mb...It has 8x AGP I believe

that right there is a great card...nice big heatsink...That would be my suggestion for price/performance ratio

The geforce 4 ti4200 agp is on sale at best buy B&M for $79

If you get the one without the sticker on the box it should have a 128 meg 8X agp card inside. I got this last weekend. It overclocked to ti4400 speeds easily.

If your smart you'll get the ATI RADEON 9500 128MB DDR.

The reason I say smart is because thinking ahead... it supports Direct X 9.

Most of the new games are Direct X 9.

I'm pretty confident the GeForce4 Ti4200/Ti4400 series does not support Direct X 9
