i have two links showing two different ways to accomplish the 3 wire trick. I have version 1.0

here are the links

What is the new point shown in the first link? I did the 3 wire according the second link with no success. The light just lighs up twice green and then red and green with no picture. Any suggestions?

flashing red and green boot is not a symptom of console coma - the 3 wire trick will only work on a console coma xbox or a bad flash xbox(256kb bios flash to 1mb tsop)

are either of those problems the reason you are trying the 3 wire trick?

if yes, then try booting each of the 256kb bank sections - connect 3 of the 4 wires and test using the picture with the 4th point

^^ Like he said, the 3-wire trick only works if you have 1/4 of the tsop working, ie a 256k bios in tact somewhere on the tsop. If your tsop is completely gone, then you will need a cheapmod based chip (ie matrix or a cheapmod, etc) with the tsop flashing bios, or a 29 wire chip to repair. You could also buy any modern chip and forget the tsop.

How do you test using the 4th point. I have the three connected already. This is all a result of turning the xbox off in the middle of flashing a bios.

sodler a 4th wire to the 4th point, then just twist them together in different combinations to load each bank, the 4way pic tells you which ones to twist togetrh for each bank
