Hey all,

Quick and easy question. Do gamesave exploits work on all versions of Xboxes including v1.6? I've never done a gamesave exploit before, but it looks easy enough, any troubles doing one a v1.6 box? Thanks!

one more thing... since I wouldn't be swapping out the hard drive or anything, is a gamesave exploit XBL safe? If I mod a v1.6 using gamesave, and install Evox, can I still use XBL safely? If not, is there anything I need to do to get XBL running safely? Thanks guys, much appreciated!

If you're a self exclaimed 'nood to softmod', how did you find out this question is easy? (seen this remark many times, always makes me wonder"

On to the answers :
- Use an UXE exploit for max. 1.6 compatibility.

For XBL:
- You can always coldboot a game and play on XBL (as lonjg as you already have an account set up)
- To use XBL you can also use krayzie's eee installer.

Plenty of info on both subjects on these forums.

LOL, thanks for the repy Soullar. I'm a software engineer by trade, and have also done several chip installations so I have good idea how hard/easy questions will be for knowledgable people.
Thanks again, that clears things up!

Cheers to that very fair explanation!

To help you get going faster:

Look for any post by "Krayzie" and check his sig.

As you don't plan to hotswap : use his installer.
For XBL there's a link in his sig regarding his EEE installer.

Both are flawless.

Cheers!
