Larger Files Not Playing On Xbmc

The title is pretty much self explanitory. When i try to play any type of file that is bigger than 4 gigs xmbc just freezes. I tried lowering the local video cache but still nothin. i am using one of the may releases i cant remember which one. is there something else that I can do to try and fix this??

4GB?! What kind of a file is over 4gb's and you would want to play in XBMC?

dvd isos im assuming, make sure its .iso format and make sure y ou have the latest compile of XBMC installed.

i am using the latest release and even iso's dont work. Some of the movies are bin/cue and others are avi. i guess i can put all of these on dvd and wath them but im lazy...
