How do I mount two hard drives into my stock case?

search the forums for ninjax's dual hdd mods, or search for liquid metal for its dual hdd mod

So funny, I had just found Ninjas one and like 8 minutes after I post you two post giving me links.


Question though Ninja, what is holding your HDs up? I hope they aren't laying ontop of the cpu or psu.

You can barely tell, but in one of the pics you can see that I cut and bent the metal shielding down, so that the HDD rests on that metal platter and slide into the DVD drive its self. The metal platter is cheap fast and easy to do. Cover it with silicone or tape and you will never have a problem with electrocution. It should be about an inch and a 1/4 above the PSU beerchug.gif

Ah I didn't know about the tape on the bent metal. I figured the rest out already, ain't it flimisy?

yer but your not gonna go and play football with it are u? so aslong as they are lifted from touching anything which could short them you are fine
