Well If you dont want to cut off those clips then I dont really think there is any other fan on the market that will work in there besides the stock one. However I could be wrong but i doubt it. If you are having heat problems then you could always do a 12v fan mod or you could use a cpu or gpu fan upgrade instead of the stock heatsink. You could also put in a side intake or outake fan. I would also suggest putting artic silver 5 thermal compound on the cpu and gpu.

i had an 80mm fan that clipped right into the the clips, but it sat a little high. I got it from Intrex.

I think the way I would view it is if you are gonna break the seal, go ahead and remove the clips. Just take your time and make it look asthough they never were there. God I hope I get a Halo LE soon... I envy you. tongue.gif

i had to break the seal to change it from 210 USA to 230 UK power and NTSC-J to Pal
and its a WHITE LE (as shown in my sig) so it is rarer then the halo le

I used an 80 mm fan in mine without cutting the clips. I just had to shave down the little side pieces in the corners a little.

I fit one in my halo LE. what i did was trim down the little hinges or clips on the fan themselves, and did it little by little to get a good fit that wasnt too loose.

my friend used a MADDOG brand led fan that he got at circuit city and he didnt have to remove the fan, but on mine i used and ANTEC brand fan and there was no way it was going in without removing them.

just get a 70mm fan, may not need any triming, maybe ... I know someone makes a blue led model somewhere since its on the AKASA AK-855-BL cpu HSF.

Dude what does cutting the clips on the shielding matter. U can swap shieldings with one of ur other xboxs. And ive seen ur le and you have already glued leds and stuff which also lowers the value. I have a halo 2 le and i dont care about modding it because im never gonna sell it anyways. So just cut them off and put the fan u want.

You could just do the 12v upgrade and mod some leds into the stock fan.
