Cannot Access Saved Games Fable

hello. seems like im posting an awful lot since i got my xbox soft-modded. anywho....im playing fable. i save my progress. when i go to load up an already saved game i am brought back to the begiining of the game! what gives here? its as if my game was never saved. someone give me a hand here?

Make sure your MS Dash clock is set properly. Also, is your E: drive stuffed to the gills with crap (like, so full you can't even create a decent save).

Coldboot the retail disc (after checking the MS Dash clock) and try saving again, even if using a new profile to test if need be.

i dont even know what coldboot means. and i dont have the original retail disc. and i dont think the e drive is maxed. and...i cannot even access my ms dashboard. i guess i have all kinds of problems. maybe its the game itself somehow, as in maybe a bad copy? maybe its time to download the latest slayers installer. thanks.
