Do you have to resize the 512k to be 1mb or will Raincoat do that?

Also, whats with the x2config.ini file? Where does this go? Are there tutorials for the new bios?

Raincoat will resize the bios, but if you have a v1.0/1.1 xbox, its a bit stupid to not make full use of the 1mb TSOP and split it, then you can have the x2 50xx bios and a stock bios for xbox live. Also the x2config.ini goes on F:\ if you have it, if not E:\.

I dont feel like getting a switch for the TSOP so I'm just going to flash the whole thing. This Xbox has been banned twice from XBLive from modifications and I don't plan on unbanning it again.

EDIT: Just the root of F: or E:(does it matter which one?)

Idd, in the root.
The advantage of a switch is that you have a backup bios. If a bad flash would occur while flashing for example, you could boot with the backup bios and reflash the broken one.
