Are you using a 3rd party controller? Try an original MS controller.

can you disable the chip and boot up to the ms dash and test the controller there? Did you remember to plug them back into the mobo when you put it together? Double check over everything you can think of. I dont know what else it could by, maybe try posting it in the xenium thread if there is one. wink.gif

Ive never used one of their chips, but the only thing i could suggest is to make sure you have the latest bios for it, maybe try flashing it again or try a different bios.

i put the modchip in my other xbox with soderless adapter and it works fine. so the modchip works fine so i think it is the solderless adapter

Maybe somethings not making a connection that should and for some reason disables the controllers.... not totally sure on that though. It might be the adapter

also try upgrading to the 2.3.0 OS release.....if that doesn't do it, revert the chip to a factory state by using the proper recovery.bin file from team xodus' site and start all over.
