Installing Xios Chip Having Trouble

I have a evo 2.3 the solder points in the instructions from extreme-mods can't be found in my mobo can anyone help out there.

The points are there. I just fitted one of those with a 2.2 bios.

You'll be attaching it to just under one of the NVidia chips, so look in that area. Use point 32 as a way to find the rest of them, as it's a big sucker (compared to the other ones) and easily spotted.

They really are small, but they're there!

I believe that these are the same spots as the homebrew chips...

The points are on the bottom of the MB.

You may want to string the wires supplied through a hole in the MB, too... as they are too short to mount the chip properly once you button things back up - that or use longer wires.

On the diagrams there are a few point without n7umbers what is that for. The first point on the chip there is nothing connected to the chi what is up with that.

Pin 1 on the chip isn't needed. Don't even worry about attaching a wire to it.

The spots on the motherboard that don't have numbers aren't needed anymore.
