16 is a dashboard error not a HD error. How did you rebuild your HD?

if you're getting an error 16, yes your HDD has unlocked at the error screen

Here's the full story:

I messed up my dashboard file extensions, and am trying to hotswap into my pc so i can fix the extensions.

The HD is recognized by bios, and is there in device manager in windows (but not in any other part of windows (ie windows explorer). BUT...when i use HDD driver or FatXplorer neither one recognizes it is there.

What do i do??

Oh yeah and I'm using the original factory hard drive.
