Those Grumbly Ftp Troubles Again

heres da sitch:
installed the NIC and drivers
connected to xbox with crossover ethernet
configured all the settings in accordance with http://www.chefelf.com guide to networking your xbox (in the tutorial section)

but wen i open a ftp program and try to connect, i get this:

im thinkin i haven't set up the home networking thing properly, if u no what i need to do or what im doing worng pls help!

Hi;
I sympathize with you & your situation. I just went through about 10 days of torture trying to get the Networking thing working, & finally succeeded. Over the past 2 days I have dabbeled with putting together a detailed tutorial, step by step. As that was what I needed but could not find.
Anyway I have an unfinished draft that I think may be enough to get you up & running if you are interested. I will email it to you.

In Step 5 - the unfinished section I have put a note for you giving a web address that will allow you to complete the final part of the connection using FlashFXP. Nice detailed instruction there with pictures. Between my draft & this site you should get things working.

I hope this helps.
