I am currently softmodding my xbox with the hdd swap method and the xbhdm, ude2 boot disk. I have tried several times to correctly create the boot disk in accordance with the steps on http://forums.living...p/t-145872.html

I have also searched this website and found the ude 2 install guide but upon clicking its link i am taken to a blank page with the words "the Page cannot be displayed" at the top. I have searched everywhere but no one has any info. Can you please help me? I just need help creating the boot disk.

UDE/UDE2 are kind of oldish these days. UXE is the new way to mod (and Ndure, but it's still kinda under development)

- If you got a memorycard, an exploitable game and access to a 2nd modded xbox : choose Krayzie's installer.

- If you don't : use xboxhdm and "uxe complete" + xboxhdm.

There's plenty of info/tuts/etc in the XBE exploit section.

Forget about UDE(2)

So you can still do the softmod with the hdd swap method and xbhdm and substitute uxe for ude? So all I do is make a boot disk with uxe and xbhdm?

Thank u

Basically : yes.

Everything is the same.

* Hotswap
* Use xboxhdm with 'UXE Complete" (xbins) included.

Just use 'Uxe complete' instead of whatever UDE(2) package you used.

There's bunches of info in the 'XBE Exploit' section of this forum.
