Well, I see a lot of questions as to which versions of each game are exploitable or not. So, I figured I would make this topic and hopefully it would clear some things up.

Mechassault

The ONLY Mechassault that is exploitable will have the following code written on the outer ring of the foil on the underside of the disc: MS02301L

007: Agent Under Fire

All non-platinum hits are exploitable. Some platinum hits are exploitable. If you have a 007 platinum hits, take a look at the disc and compare it to the following image.

Splinter Cell

To the best of my knowledge, all Splinter Cell games are exploitable, including the platinum hits versions.

BTW: Can somebody pin this please?

Well, I have used my Platinum Hits Splinter Cell version many times. I have yet to come across anybody who says that their Splinter Cell Platinum Hits Version did not work. Of course, some people say it, then it is clarified later that they didn't do it right or the save was corrupted because they were using Action Replay or something. If anybody can clarify or confirm the Splinter Cell thing, please do so.

I also never heard anyone with a not working splinter cell. I myself bought like 15 copies of splinter cell classics and they all worked.
I"ll throw a link in the tutorials topic

My SC platinum hits works. I have heard of people saying that it took them several tries to get their platinum hits to work, but that could be like textbook said and they just didn't know what they were doing.

Post disk markings so we can resolve this once and for all.. Too many ppl simply can't get a save onto their hdd without corrupting it, and they just blame the game..

Note, that 1.6 xboxes are a LOT pickier with the usable USB sticks, tho.

My platinum hits SC has markings of "510130-dvdp". We should compile all this info and put it on xguides.

EDIT: The 510130-dvdp was on the face of the disk. around the ring it has "us01209a-l1" and "us01209-lo". Not sure which of these numbers tells the exact version.

Yeah, it's the same, but does anybody know about the Tom Clancy 3-in-1 pack. I never thought about that, but if they iddn't patch it, it seems like it would work, because it's the same games, just with a menu built-in to launch the xbes. I don't know, has anybody tried this yet?

The Tom Clancy 3-in-1 trilogy pack does work, instead of putting all three games on one DVD, they actually just put each game on a DVD and put it all in one package.

whenever i tried using my splinter cell it just gave me an error 21, dont know if that was my fault or the games but i looked at my MA and it was the wrong version so i just gave up, might try renting a few copies of each though, i'm having a renewed interest in softmodding
