I was just wondering if anyone can give me any reliable places to buy an upgraded HDD for my modded Xbox. If you can, please do, and I'm a noob so please go easy on me. Thank you.

pretty much any store that sells hds, such as Best Buy. You do realize you'll have to format first, you can't just plug it in and use it.

160GB for $40 at compusa. If you are talking about a pre-formatted, complete with apps and dashboard hard drive. You can probably get one from someone on the BST.

You have to buy a normal HDD and then format it with some tools. I did it about a year ago, it is really easy, no big deal.

Pluging it in is like with a pc and you can find a lot of easy manuals on the web. However you should check what dashboard u are running, if it is really old it doesn't support +120GB. Haven't figured out how to flash my modchip, but also didn't really try more then a day.

Thank you everyone! I bought a 120Gb at best buy. Now, can anyone point me in the direction of a good formatting tutorial? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

One thing that may help you out is an Auto-Installer. It will do everything for you, including formatting your HDD, installing various dashboards, applications, emulators and so-on. If you would like to get a better grasp about installing things yourself, I would look around in the Usual Places for the programs you are interested in and search around here for the tutorials to help you.

OK, since we're not allowed to talk about piracy, i'll be subtle...
I'm trying to put "something" on my E-drive using DVD2Xbox. I upgraded to a 120GB HDD this morning, but when i try to copy that something, I choose e:\games\ but it still says 4869MB free! What did I do wrong?! You don't have to respond on the forum if it's against the rules, you can E-mail me at Storyofnothing13@AOL.com. I REALLY need help! Thanks.

Don't copy games or movies to the e drive because they probably won't even fit. Copy all of your games to the f drive. ex: f/games/halo, f/games/madden

ok, final 2 questions (i hope):
1. When the game is copying to the f drive it says "MB on disc: 255MB" or something like that, and it doesn't change.
2. How do I launch a game from a drive other than E?
Thanks.
